Active ingredient

Gel for external use light brown color.
1 g of gel contains extract of onion Ceray 100 mg, Heparin 50 IU, allantoin 10 mg;

Mechanism of action

Combined medication, the action of which is due to the properties of its constituent components.
Ceray Extract receive from the selected onions which are grown up on special fields. It has anti-inflammatory, bactericidal effect. It also reduces swelling and prevents excessive synthesis of connective tissue.
Heparin softens scar tissue. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect and contributes to the retention of water in the scar tissue.
Allantoin accelerates healing and relieves itching. With old scars, its main function is to restore and maintain the water content in the scar tissue and maintain blood circulation.
The properties of all ingredients enhance and complement each other. The serol base of Contractubex gel leaves a thin protective film on the surface of the scar, scar, stretch marks (stria), which protects sensitive scar tissue from damage.
In the overwhelming majority of cases, Contractubex returns scar tissue tissue elasticity and restores skin function.
The sooner you start treatment with Contractubex, the more effective it will be.

Indications and usage

 
- hypertrophic and keloid scars arising after operations, amputations, burns and injuries;
- ankylosis (contracture) of the joints;
- Dupuytren's contracture;
- traumatic tendon contractures;
- atrophic scars that occur after acne or furunculosis;
- stretch marks after childbirth or after a sharp weight loss.

Dosage and administration

 
The first procedures can be performed a few days after the wound has healed (epithelialized) - approximately 7–14 days after skin damage. Lightly moisten the scar surface before applying Contractubex. This will allow the active ingredients of the drug to be better absorbed into the scar tissue.

On fresh, gentle scars gel is applied 1-3 times a day, a thin layer and gently rubbed. Massaging with gentle pressure, the gel is rubbed from the middle to the edge of the scar until completely absorbed within 1-2 minutes.
With thick, old scars, more severe scars (a year or more from the time of occurrence) Contractubex need to be applied 1-3 times a day and rub in with massaging movements. The surface of the scar is recommended for the night to close with a pressure bandage to enhance the effect of the gel.
The bandage is particularly desirable in the case when the scar, including keloid, has a large area. Soften the scar with a warm, damp sponge. Apply contractubex with a thin layer. Massage the gel gently into the scar.Then apply a pressure bandage to the scar. Leave the dressing overnight to enhance the effect of the gel. For scarring a smaller area, you can use adhesive plasters.
For scars located on the hands, elbows, feet etc., it is recommended to take partial baths. To do this, add 2 cm of the drug "Kontraktubex" to 1 liter of water (water temperature 36 ° -38 ° C) and hold the healed area of ​​skin in this solution for 10-15 minutes.

The course of treatment ranges from several weeks to several months.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Special notes

To enhance the effect can be applied to pre-steamed skin.
May be used in combination with physiotherapeutic procedures.
In vitro studies have shown an inhibitory effect on the proliferation of keloid fibroblasts.
When treating fresh scars, ultraviolet radiation, exposure to cold and massage should be avoided.

Overdosage
