Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of Microgynon, pregnancy, breastfeeding, severe abnormal liver function, liver tumors and thromboembolic processes (including in history), diabetes mellitus with vascular complications, hormone-dependent breast or endometrial cancer, vaginal bleeding of unclear etiology.

Adverse reactions

In some cases, menstrual disorders (frequent and / or irregular bleeding, amenorrhea), engorgement of the mammary glands, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin lesions (including acne and hirsutism), changes in body weight and libido, depressive conditions, changes in vaginal secretion, deterioration of the tolerance of contact lenses, allergic reactions.

Dosage and administration

Microgynon take orally.

Blister contains 21 dragees. Each dragee is labeled the day of the week in which it should be taken. Take the dragee should be every day at the same time, squeezed small amounts of water. You must follow the direction of the arrow until all 21 dragees are taken.Over the next 7 days - a break in taking the drug. Menstruation (withdrawal bleeding) should begin during these 7 days. Usually it starts 2-3 days after taking the last dragee. After a 7-day break (on the 8th day), begin to take pills from the next package, even if the bleeding has not yet stopped. This means that you should always start a new package on the same day of the week, and that each month there will be bleeding on about the same day of the week.
