Active ingredient

Bearberry leaves medicinal plant materials:
1 package contains bearberry leaves crushed;
Pack of 10 or 20 filter bags of 1.5 g each.

Mechanism of action

Infusion of bearberry leaves has anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antiseptic action.

Indications and usage

In the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the bladder and urinary tract (cystitis, urethritis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, acute renal failure, acute glomerulonephritis, pregnancy, lactation, children up to 12 years.

Dosage and administration

2 filter bags (3 g) are placed in a glass or enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and infuse for 15 minutes, periodically pressing the bags with a spoon, then squeezing them. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
Is ingested in the form of heat and 1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day 40 minutes after eating. The course of treatment is 20-25 days. It is possible to repeat the course after a 10-12 day break, but not more than 4 courses per year.
Before use, the infusion is recommended to shake.

Adverse reactions

When taking large doses of bearberry preparations or with their long-term use, an exacerbation of inflammatory diseases of the kidneys may occur as a result of prolonged irritation of the renal tubules.
Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, urine staining in dark green are possible.
