Pharmachologic effect:

Herbal medicine; The infusion has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory and some diuretic effect.

Indications:

Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (including tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, erosion and ulcers of the gastrointestinal tract.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions. Prolonged use (especially at doses higher than recommended) - nausea, vomiting.

Dosage and administration:

Inside, 100 ml of infusion 3-4 times a day for 2-3 weeks. Repeated treatment is carried out after a 10-12 day break, but not more than 4 courses per year. To make this infusion, 8 g of the herb is placed in an enameled bowl, 200 ml of cold boiled water is poured, covered with a lid and heated in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cooled at room temperature for 45 minutes, filtered. The remaining raw material is pressed. The volume of the resulting infusion is brought to 200 ml with boiled water. Filter bags: 2 filter bags are placed in glass or enameled ware, 200 ml of boiling water are poured, covered with a lid and brewed for 20 minutes, then the filter bags are drained, the volume of the obtained water extract is brought to 200 ml with boiled water.
