Mechanism of action

Ointment DR. TAYS with eucalyptus is an anti-inflammatory, irritant, expectorant.

In the complex therapy of inflammatory diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, including bronchitis, accompanied by the formation of sputum and cough difficult to separate.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the drug.

- Spastic cough.
- Damage to the skin.

Dosage and administration

Outwardly: Adults and children over 3 years old apply the ointment on the skin of the back and chest and rub it with light massage movements, then cover the smeared place with a warm flannel or wool towel to keep warm. The procedure is repeated several times a day, especially at night.
Inhalation: prepare a hot solution (in 0.5-1 l of hot water, but not boiling water, dissolve 2 teaspoons of the drug) and carry out inhalation for 5-10 minutes.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, bronchospasm are possible.
In rare cases: the development of seizures caused by the action of camphor.

Special notes

It is necessary to avoid applying ointment on the face, contact with eyes, mucous membranes of the nose and oral cavity.
