Description

Transparent or slightly opalescent solution from brown to red-brown in color with a characteristic odor. When agitating, particles visible with the naked eye can be detected in the solution.

Pharmacological properties

• The drug has an immunostimulating and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Increases phagocytic activity of neutrophils and macrophages;
• induces the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells;
• improves metabolic processes in the liver, kidneys and spleen.

Indications for use

Prevention and treatment of colds. Ancillary treatment of chronic respiratory and urinary tract infections.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Chronic diseases in the acute stage, such as tuberculosis, leukemia, diseases like leukemia (leukemias), systemic connective tissue diseases (collagenoses), multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infections and other autoimmune diseases.

Allergic reactions to plants of the Asteraceae family. Elderly and children's age. Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosage and method of use

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and adolescents over 12 years of age should take 55 drops (which is 2.75 ml) 3-4 times a day.

Drops can be taken pure or dissolved in water in a teaspoon. Reception does not depend on food intake. The drug should not be taken for more than 8 weeks.

Dr. Theiss Echinacea Forte contains 22% by volume of alcohol. Care should be taken when driving and working with mechanical equipment. Use with caution in persons with liver disease and patients with alcoholism.
