Mechanism of action

Lactobacilli living in the drug Ecofemin Floravag have antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria (including staphylococcus, Proteus, enteropathogenic Escherichia coli), normalize the digestive activity of the gastrointestinal tract, improve metabolic processes, help restore natural immunity. Metabolize glycogen of the vaginal epithelium to lactic acid, which maintains the pH of the vagina at a level of 3.8-4.2. Lactic acid in high concentration creates unfavorable conditions for the life of acid-sensitive pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria.

Indications and usage

Ecofemin Florafwag is intended for:

• normalization of the vaginal microflora;
• prevention and treatment of diseases caused by imbalance of the vaginal microflora, including as the second stage of treatment of bacterial vaginosis, nonspecific vulvovaginitis, hormone-dependent colpitis;
• prevention of postoperative infectious complications, in preparation for planned gynecological operations, diagnostic invasive procedures;
• prevention of ascending infection during childbirth during the prenatal preparation period;
• recovery of vaginal microflora after systemic and local antibiotic therapy.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance to the components Ecofemin Floravag, candidiasis. Pregnant women, as well as persons with congenital immunodeficiency use after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and administration

Adults take 2 capsules per day for 10-15 days, then, if necessary, 1 capsule per day for 5-10 days. If necessary, the reception can be repeated, before re-admission is recommended to consult with your doctor.
