Mechanism of action

Aminazine is an antipsychotic (neuroleptic) from the group of phenothiazine derivatives. It has a pronounced antipsychotic, sedative, antiemetic effect. The mechanism of antipsychotic action is associated with the blockade of postsynaptic dopaminergic receptors in the mesolimbic structures of the brain. Aminazine also has a blocking effect on α-adrenoreceptors and suppresses the release of pituitary and hypothalamic hormones. Dosage and administration

Installed individually. When ingested for adults, a single dose of Aminazine is 10-100 mg, a daily dose is 25-600 mg; for children aged 1-5 years - 500 mcg / kg every 4-6 hours, for children older than 5 years, you can apply 1 / 3-1 / 2 adult doses.

Contraindications

Violations of the liver, kidneys, blood-forming organs, progressive systemic diseases of the brain and spinal cord, myxedema, severe cardiovascular diseases, thromboembolic disease; late stage bronchiectasis; angle-closure glaucoma; urinary retention associated with prostatic hyperplasia; pronounced depression of the central nervous system, coma, brain injury.

Adverse reactions
