Betamethasone dipropionate - glucocorticosteroid, has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative, anti-edema and antipruritic action. It inhibits the accumulation of leukocytes, the release of lysosomal enzymes and proinflammatory mediators in the focus of inflammation, inhibits phagocytosis, reduces vascular tissue permeability, prevents the formation of inflammatory edema.
Salicylic acid provides keratolytic, antimicrobial action, eliminates horny layers and contributes to a deeper penetration of the glucocorticosteroid.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
The safety of topical use of glucocorticosteroids in pregnant women has not been established; prescription of drugs of this group during pregnancy is justified only if the potential benefit outweighs the possible risk. It is not established whether topical use of glucocorticosteroids can cause them to appear in mother's milk, therefore, the question of discontinuing breastfeeding should be resolved.
