Mechanism of action

FERNIXIL is a combined preparation.

Iron Gluconate compensates for the deficiency of Fe in the body, is part of Hb.

Folic acid takes an active part in the processes of regulation of the functions of the blood-forming organs, has an anti-anemnetic effect in case of macrocytic anemia. It also has a positive effect on intestinal and liver functions, increases the choline content in the liver and prevents its fatty infiltration. Folic acid supports the immune system, contributes to the normal formation and functioning of white blood cells. Folic acid plays an important role in pregnancy. It regulates the formation of nerve cells of the embryo, which is essential for normal development.

Vitamin B12 plays an important role in the regulation of the function of blood-forming organs: it takes part in the synthesis of purine and pyrimidine bases, nucleic acids necessary for the process of erythropoiesis, actively influences the accumulation of compounds containing sulfhydryl groups in erythrocytes.
