Hypersensitivity, bronchial asthma, severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sinus bradycardia, AV-blockade II-III degree, clinically severe heart failure, cardiogenic shock, pregnancy, breast-feeding.
From the nervous system and sensory organs: headache, paresthesia, dizziness, depression, increased iris pigmentation (in the treatment of one eye, heterochromia is possible), irritant effect on the eye (foreign body sensation, itching, burning, redness, pain), macular edema, diplopia, visual impairment, incl. refraction, conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis.
From the side of cardiovascular system and blood (blood formation, hemostasis): bradycardia, arrhythmia, arterial hypotension.
On the part of the respiratory system: shortness of breath, cough, bronchospasm.
Allergic reactions: angioedema, urticaria, generalized skin rash.
Other: worsening of symptoms of myasthenia gravis, systemic lupus erythematosus syndrome.
Xalacom used locally. Adults take 1 drop in the eye (a) 1 time per day, in the morning.
