Active ingredient

Theraflu for cold and flu Extra powder for solution for oral administration:
1 disposable bag contains Paracetamol 650 mg, pheniramine maleate 20 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 10 mg;
Excipients: Ascorbic acid, malic acid, sodium citrate dihydrate, ethyl maltol, caramel, titanium dioxide, sucrose, Calcium phosphate, citric acid, artificial apple flavoring, natural apple-cinnamon flavoring;
in the box 10 bags.

Mechanism of action

Theraflu has analgesic, antipyretic, anti-allergic effect.

Indications and usage

Infectious and inflammatory diseases, accompanied by fever, headache, runny nose and nasal congestion, sneezing, myalgia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, arterial hypertension, severe diseases of the liver, kidneys, heart, thyroid, lungs (including bronchial asthma), blood systems, pancreas, bladder; diabetes mellitus, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, angle-closure glaucoma, difficulty urinating with prostate adenoma, children up to 15 years of age.

Dosage and administration

Theraflu prescribed inside. Single dose - 1 bag. A repeated dose, if necessary, is taken every 4 hours, but not more than 3 times within 24 hours. The drug can be taken at any time of the day, but the optimal effect develops when taken at bedtime, at night.
Dissolve the contents of 1 sachet in 1 cup of boiled water. Eat hot, you can add sugar to taste.
If within 3 days after the start of the drug is not observed reduction of symptoms, the patient should consult a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Fatigue, decrease in the speed of psychomotor reactions, increase in blood pressure, palpitations, dry mouth, nausea, epigastric pain, urinary retention, skin rash, itching; rarely - thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis; hepatotoxic and nephrotoxic action (with prolonged high doses).

Special notes

Should not be used while working drivers of vehicles and people whose profession is associated with increased concentration of attention.
During treatment, it is not recommended to drink alcoholic beverages and depressants of the central nervous system (hypnotics, anxiolytics, etc.)
