Indications and usage

 
Solution for external and local use of 0.25%
- ARVI (as monotherapy);
- rhinitis (as monotherapy);
- sinusitis;
- obliterating diseases of the lower extremities;
- trophic ulcers;
- gangrene;
- infected and nonhealing wounds (including diabetes mellitus);
- burns;
- frostbite;
- inflammatory diseases of the mucous membrane of the mouth, eyes, nose, vagina, rectum;
- hemorrhoids.
Solution for intramuscular injection of 1.5%
- therapy of radiation injuries;
- stimulation of hemopoiesis;
- myelodepression and resistance to cytostatics in cancer patients, developed on the background of cytostatic and / or radiation therapy (stabilization of hematopoiesis, reduction of cardiovascular and myelotoxicity of chemotherapy);
- stomatitis induced by cytostatic therapy;
- gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer;
- CHD;
- obliterating vascular diseases of the lower extremities II-III stage;
- trophic ulcers, nonhealing wounds;
- odontogenic sepsis, purulent-septic complications;
- rheumatoid arthritis;
- burn disease;
- preoperative and postoperative periods (in surgical practice in the form of monotherapy);
- Chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis;
- endometritis;
- prostatitis;
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
- pulmonary tuberculosis.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration

Solution for external and local use of 0.25%
For the prevention of SARS appoint 2 drops of solution in each nostril 2-4 times / day. When symptoms of respiratory disease appear, the drug is instilled into the nose every 1-1.5 hours.
With rhinitis and sinusitis 3-5 drops of the solution are instilled into each nostril 3-6 times a day (or a cotton swab soaked in with the preparation solution is inserted for 10 minutes).
In inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity rinse the mouth with a solution of the drug 4-6 times / day.
In gynecological practice prescribe vaginal douching and vaginal insertion of tampons with Derinat. Rectal administration of the drug is carried out using microclysters of 15-40 ml. Duration of treatment is 4-10 days.
In ophthalmic practice Derinat is instilled into the eyes 1-2 drops 2-3 times / day for 14-45 days.
With obliterating diseases of the lower extremities in order to achieve a systemic effect, the drug is instilled 1-2 drops into each nostril 6 times / day, the duration of the course is up to 6 months.
With post-radiation necrosis of the skin and mucous membranes, with nonhealing wounds, burns, frostbite, trophic ulcers of various etiologies, gangrene it is recommended to apply application dressings on affected areas (1 layer of gauze) with application of the preparation 3-4 times / day. At the same time, intranasal administration of Derinat is prescribed by 1-2 drops up to 6 times / day.
Solution for intramuscular injection of 1.5%
Derinat in the form of solution for injection prescribed for adults in / m in the average single dose of 75 mg (5 ml of 1.5% solution) with an injection interval of 24-72 hours.
With CHD appoint 10 injections of the drug with an interval of 48-72 hours.
With gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer appoint 5 injections with an interval of 48 h.
With cancer - 3-10 injections with an interval of 24-72 hours.
With uterine myoma and prostatitis - 10 injections with an interval of 24-48 hours.
With tuberculosis - 10-15 injections with an interval of 24-48 hours.
In acute inflammatory diseases - 3-5 injections with an interval of 24-72 hours.
In chronic inflammatory diseases - 5 injections with an interval of 24 hours, then 5 injections with an interval of 72 hours.

Adverse Effects

Local reactions: moderate pain at the injection site.
Maybe: hypoglycemia (in patients with diabetes mellitus); in some cases, 1.5-3 hours after injection, short-term hyperthermia, which is relieved by the use of symptomatic agents.

When external and local use of the drug side effects have been identified.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Derinat in the form of a solution for injection is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Adequate studies of the safety of local and external use of Derinat during pregnancy and lactation have not been conducted.

Special notes

Not allowed to / in the introduction of the drug Derinat!
To reduce pain when i / m administration, the drug is recommended to be administered slowly over 1-2 minutes.
Immediately before administering the drug, the bottle of solution should be warmed in your hand to body temperature.

Overdosage

So far, no cases of drug overdose Derinat were reported.

Drug Interactions

Combined use with other drugs can increase the therapeutic effect of Derinat.
When combined, Derinat may enhance the effect of anticoagulants.
When applied topically, Derinat is incompatible with fat-based ointments.

The drug is recommended to be stored in a dry, dark place at temperatures from 4 ° to 18 ° C.
