Mechanism of action

A drug that improves tissue regeneration for external use. The active ingredient of the drug, Dexpanthenol, is converted into pantothenic acid, which, as part of coenzyme A, plays an important role in acetylation and oxidation processes, is involved in carbohydrate, fat metabolism and in the synthesis of acetylcholine. It has some anti-inflammatory effect. Significantly reduces mechanical irritation of the affected skin. Dexpanthenol penetrates well into the affected tissue. The use of the drug is especially indicated for poorly healing wounds and ulcers.

Studies of the pharmacokinetics of the drug Panthenol Spray were not conducted.

Indications and usage

- all types of skin wounds (including abrasions, burns, aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly healing skin grafts, trophic ulcers, skin cracks);
- bullous and bubbly dermatitis;
- sunburns and herpes labialis solaris.

The drug is used one or several times a day by spraying from a distance of 10-20 cm so that the entire affected surface is covered with the drug.
