Pharmacology

Indications and usage

• cardiovascular insufficiency of various etiologies;
• intoxication caused by cardiac glycosides;
• type 1 diabetes;
• diabetes mellitus type 2, including moderate hypercholesterolemia;
• as a hepatoprotector in patients taking antifungal drugs.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug. Age up to 18 years (efficacy and safety have not been established).

Dosage and administration

In heart failure, Dibicore® is ingested
250-500 mg (1-2 tablets) 2 times a day 20 minutes before meals, the course of treatment is 30 days. The dose can be increased to 2-3 g (8-12 tablets) per day or reduced to 125 mg (1/2 tablets) at the reception.
With intoxication with cardiac glycosides - not less than 750 mg
(3 tablets) per day.
In case of type 1 diabetes, 500 mg (2 tablets) 2 times a day in combination with insulin therapy for 3-6 months.
In case of type 2 diabetes mellitus, 500 mg (2 tablets) 2 times a day in monotherapy or in combination with other hypoglycemic agents for oral administration.
In case of diabetes mellitus type 2, including those with moderate hypercholesterolemia, 500 mg (2 tablets) 2 times a day, the duration of the course is recommended by a doctor.
As a hepatoprotector - 500 mg (2 tablets) 2 times a day during the entire course of antifungal medication.

Drug interactions

Dibicor can be used with other drugs; enhances the inotropic effect of cardiac glycosides.

Special notes

While taking Dibicor®, the dose of cardiac glycosides should be reduced by a factor of 2, depending on the sensitivity of patients to cardiac glycosides. The same rule applies to blockers of “slow” Calcium channels.
