Mechanism of action

Cholisal has anti-inflammatory local, analgesic, antimicrobial action.

Indications

Stomatitis of various etiologies, gingivitis, periodontitis, damage to the mucous membrane when wearing dentures, injuries of the oral mucosa, pain during teething in children, glandular cheilitis, thrush, small surgeries, lichen planus, exudative multiforme erythema (including. Stevens-Jones syndrome) - in the complex therapy.

Allergic reactions are possible, sometimes (with acute damage to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity) - short-term slight burning sensation, passing on its own.

Interaction

Only in the event of a significant overdose of Holisal due to the overall effect of cholinsalicylate, the effect of other anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic drugs is possible.

Mode of application

Locally 2-3 times a day before meals (for the purpose of pain relief) or after meals and before bedtime (unless otherwise prescribed). The gel in the amount of 1 cm for adults and 0.5 cm for children is squeezed onto a clean finger and rubbed with light massaging movements into the affected area of ​​the mucous membrane.

For periodontal diseases: the gel is injected into the gum pockets, used as a compress or gently rubbed into the gums 1-2 times a day.
