Mechanism of action
Citrosept grapefruit liquid is a dietary supplement. Not a cure. Citrosept is a bioflavonoid standardized 33% grapefruit seed extract. Antifungal (fungicidal and fungistatic), antibacterial, antiviral effect.
Citrosept affects 100 species of fungi and yeast (Aspergillus, Candida, T.rubrum, T.mentagrophytes, T.tonsurans, Epidermophyton floccosum, etc.), more than 800 strains of gram-positive bacteria (streptococci, staphylococcus, etc.), gram-negative (Escherichia, Klebsiella, Prevotella, Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, etc.)
In relation to mushrooms, Citrosept inhibits cytochrome P-450 enzyme in the liver and the digestive tract. Antibacterial effects are based on damage to the cytoplasmic membrane, the cell wall and to restrain the synthesis of amino acids. Citrosept has a high bioavailability due to its low molecular weight (565). The effects of Citrosept on Herpes Simplex, Chlamydia, Trichomonas, etc. have been proven.
20 years of world experience in using Citrosept has shown its high efficacy, good tolerability and safety. It does not inhibit lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, which normally live in the intestine, i.e. does not cause dysbiosis. It preserves saprophytic microflora, stimulates the body's natural resistance, does not cause dependence and addiction with prolonged use.
Bioflavonoids contained in the preparation, promote the synthesis of proteins intended for the synthesis of specific antibodies, can have regulatory effects on the metabolism of endogenous and exogenous lipophilic compounds and normalize all types of metabolism (including low density cholesterol). They have anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic and anti-allergic effects, restore the walls of blood vessels, regulate their permeability, improve blood circulation, normalize the increased blood clotting, prevent the formation of blood clots and have antioxidant properties. These compounds eliminate the tolerance to carbohydrates (reduce the level of sugar), significantly limit the growth of tumors, including skin tumors, protect from radiation. Their regular use delays the development of hypertension and atherosclerosis. Bioflavonoids support the liver - contribute to the elimination of waste products of the vital activity of the body - endotoxins (slags) and have a choleretic effect. The average consumption of bioflavonoids in developed countries is 0.5–1 g daily.
Does not contain alcohol and chemical components.
