Mechanism of action

The drug for the local treatment of hemorrhoids. Heparin is a direct acting anticoagulant. Activates antithrombin III, neutralizing a number of factors (XIIa, XIa, Xa, XIIIa). Disrupts the transfer of prothrombin to thrombin. When applied topically, heparin prevents the formation of blood clots, has anti-edema and anti-inflammatory effects, promotes the regeneration of connective tissue.
Benzocaine has a local anesthetic effect.

Indications and usage
