Mechanism of action

Florin^® Forte restores the normal microflora of the human body, inhibits the vital activity of pathogens of infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and upper respiratory tract due to living probiotic bacteria that enter the drug: bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium bifidum), sorbed in the form of microcolonies, and lactobacteria (Lactobacillus plantarum)
The combined effect of bifidobacteria and lactobacteria adsorbed on Activated carbon in the form of microcolonies provides accelerated normalization of the quantitative and qualitative composition, metabolic and functional activity of microflora, increased suppressive effects on the pathogens of acute intestinal infections, acute respiratory viral infections and their removal from the body, increases non-specific resistance.
Bifidobacteria that are part of the drug, have an antimicrobial effect due to antagonistic activity to pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, immunomodulatory effects - stimulate the synthesis of immunoglobulins, interferons, cytokines, participate in the formation of local immunity, activate the reparation of the mucous membranes and the mucous membranes and the pattern of the template. fatty acids, lactic acid.Bifidobacteria are biosorbent, neutralize toxins, accumulate toxic substances and remove them from the body.

Indications

- diseases associated with impaired normal microflora of the intestine with a deficiency of bifidobacteria, lactobacilli or normal Escherichia coli,
- acute intestinal infections caused by rotaviruses and / or conditionally pathogenic microflora,
- acute intestinal infections of unknown etiology,
- acute respiratory diseases of both viral and microbial origin.

- restoration of intestinal normal flora in the period of convalescence after past diseases,

Contraindications

Congenital lactase deficiency. Impaired glucose-galactose absorption. Individual intolerance to the drug.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The drug is approved for use in women during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Composition

One capsule contains:
active ingredients: B. bifidum bifidobacteria, adsorbed on activated carbon - at least 50 million colony forming units (5x10⁷ CFU), lactobacillus L.plantarum - at least 50 million colony forming units (5x10⁷ CFU)
excipients: components of the drying medium (sucrose-gelatin) - sucrose 8.08-8.24 mg, gelatin 1.07-1.09 mg; activated carbon 2,73-2,79 mg, Magnesium stearate 1-10 mg, lactose monohydrate to 0.20 g
composition of capsule shell: capsule body - titanium dioxide (white) 1.0-2.0%, gelatin up to 100%, capsule cover - titanium dioxide 1.0-2.0%, iron oxide (yellow color) 0.05 -1.8% gelatin to 100%.

Dosage and administration

The drug is intended for use in adults and children from the first days of life (including premature).
Age dosages:
- adults 2 capsules 3 times a day,
- for children under 6 months, 1 capsule, 2 times a day,
- for children from 6 months to 3 years, 1 capsule 3 times a day,
- for children from 3 years and older, 1 capsule 3-4 times per day.
A course of treatment:
- for diseases involving a violation of the normal intestinal microflora 10-15 days,
- for acute intestinal infections 5-7 days,
- in acute respiratory diseases 5-10 days,
- for chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract 10-15 days,
- in the period of recovery after the illness 10-15 days,
- with dysbacteriosis 10-15 days.
Florin^® Forte is taken orally during the reception of the poor, if necessary, regardless of the meal, drinking water. Children and patients who can not swallow a whole capsule, it is opened. The contents of the capsule are mixed with a liquid food, preferably a fermented milk product. You can mix the contents of the capsule with 5-30 ml of boiled water at room temperature in a spoon or glass, and a cloudy suspension is formed with particles of black sorbent. The resulting aqueous suspension should be drunk, not achieving complete dissolution.

Drug interaction

While taking Florin^® Forte with vitamins (especially group B) the effect of the drug is enhanced. When taking antibiotics, the recommended interval between taking the antibiotic and the drug Florin^® Forte is 3-4 hours.
