Theotard is taken orally, after eating, without chewing and drinking water. Adults and children weighing more than 40 kg at the beginning of treatment are usually 350 mg 1 time per day (in the evening), the maintenance dose is 350 mg 2 times per day. Adults with underweight and children weighing more than 20 kg - at the beginning of treatment 200 mg 1 time per day (in the evening), then 200 mg 2 times per day. During treatment, the dose is adjusted depending on the serum theophylline level, which should be 10–20 mcg / ml.
