Mechanism of action

The main active component of NEOTANIN is synthetic tannin. Tannins are substances that have an astringent, drying effect due to their ability to bind and precipitate proteins (proteins).

The second active component of NEOTANIN is polidocanol, which has antipruritic action. The antipruritic effect of polidocanol develops quickly, the duration of action averages 3-4 hours.Polidocanol also enhances the astringent, drying effect of tannin and promotes healing of erosion.

The third active ingredient in NEOTANIN Lotion (suspension) is zinc oxide. Zinc oxide refers to substances that have: an astringent effect — binds the skin proteins and proteins of the tissue fluid into a thin film on the surface of the skin and a drying effect — reduces the severity of exudative processes.

Indications

The condition of the skin, accompanied by a violation of the integrity of the skin, weeping, irritation and itching.
Including:

• with diaper dermatitis

Dosage and administration

Shake the bottle with the lotion (suspension) well, apply the lotion (suspension) directly on the skin 3-4 times a day, let it dry. If necessary, apply to large areas of skin - use a cotton pad.

Duration of use - until complete drying of the elements.

In case of diaper rash, lotion (suspension) is applied to the affected skin after each swaddling or diaper change.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

NEOTANIN can be used during pregnancy and lactation. However, during breastfeeding, it is not necessary to use the agent in the area of ​​the mammary glands in order to avoid accidental oral ingestion of the drug in the infant's body during feeding.
