Pharmachologic effect:
Antiseptic, has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and local anesthetic effect. Coagulates proteins of microbial cells; active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms in vitro; has an antifungal effect. Eliminates the symptoms of irritation of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract, has a decongestant effect on the mucous membrane. Reduces nasal congestion. Soothes irritation and sore throat.
Indications:
Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, throat, larynx: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis (including professional ones among teachers, speakers, chemical and coal industry workers), hoarseness, inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums (aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, thrush).
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, children's age (up to 6 years).
Side effects:
Allergic reactions. Overdose. Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Treatment: symptomatic.
Dosage and administration:
Adults and children - every 2-3 hours 1 pill or lozenge. The maximum daily dose is 8 pills or lozenges.
Special instructions:
If you accidentally skip one or more doses, the dose is not increased.
