Dosage form

◊ Eye drops in the form of a transparent or slightly opalescent, colorless or slightly colored liquid.

Excipients:benzalkonium chloride (100 μg / ml), sodium chloride (2 mg / ml), disodium edetate (1 mg / ml), sodium phosphate monosubstituted dihydrate (3.5 mg / ml), sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-water (24 mg / ml), water d / i.

10 ml - polyethylene bottle droppers (1) - cardboard packs.

Mechanism of action

Protector of the corneal epithelium. It has a moisturizing and protective effect on the cornea with reduced secretion of the tear fluid. Having a high viscosity, increases the duration of the contact of the solution with the cornea. The refractive index of the solution is similar to natural tears.

Restores, stabilizes and reproduces the optical characteristics of the tear film.

Subjective and objective improvement of the condition (reduction of hyperemia, epithelialization of lesions) usually occurs within 3-5 days, pronounced improvement or complete cure - within 2-3 weeks.

Indications and usage

- erosion and trophic ulcers of the cornea;

- microtraumas of the corneal epithelium;

- bullous dystrophic changes of the cornea;

- keratopathy;

- ectropion;

- lagophthalmos;

- eyelid deformity;

- condition after plastic surgery on the eyelids;

- condition after thermal and chemical burns of the cornea and conjunctiva;

- condition after keratoplasty, keratoectomy;

- replacement therapy with reduced secretion of the tear fluid;

- dry eye syndrome (Sjogren's syndrome), xerosis, keratosis (as part of combination therapy);

- increased eye sensitivity;

- at the end of the diagnostic procedures: gonioscopy, electroretinography, electrooculography, echobiometric study of the eyeball.

The drug should be instilled 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac 4-8 times / day. If necessary, you can enter 1-2 drops every hour. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

Local reactions: feeling of sticking of the eyelids (due to the high viscosity of the solution), allergic reactions.

Contraindications

- hypersensitivity to the drug.

The use of the drug in the acute phase of the burn (until the complete removal of the toxic substance) is not recommended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no data on the possibility and safety of using the drug during pregnancy and lactation.

Special notes

Wearing soft contact lenses during the period of use of the drug is not recommended. When wearing hard (hard) contact lenses before instillation of the drug should be removed and re-installed no earlier than 20-30 minutes after applying the drug.

Long-term use of the drug Defislosis is not recommended.

Influence on ability to drive motor transport and control mechanisms

Immediately after instillation, blurred vision is possible, which may lead to difficulties in driving or working with machinery. Therefore, it is not earlier than 15 minutes after instillation that work should be started on work requiring clear vision.

Overdosage

When using eye drops, hyphenosis overdose is unlikely.

Drug interactions

Drug Hyphenlosis is pharmaceutically incompatible with eye drops containing metal salts.

The drug is approved for use as a means of OTC.
