Active ingredient and dosage form

Extract liquid for oral administration:
1 bottle contains a mixture of plant materials - Hypericum herb, Canadian goldenrod herb, Licorice root, rhizomes with Echinacea purpurea; ethyl alcohol content not less than 37%;
in vials of 50 ml or 100 ml.

Mechanism of action

Prostanorm is characterized by moderate androgenic activity, anti-inflammatory, analgesic properties, as well as the ability to improve microcirculation in the tissues of the prostate gland; normalizes diuresis. It has a bacteriostatic action against gram-positive bacteria of the genus Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus.

Indications and usage

As an anti-inflammatory and normalizing diuresis agent for the treatment of chronic nonspecific prostatitis in adults.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity; acute glomerulonephritis.

Dosage and administration

Prostanorm is taken orally, 1/2 tsp. (2.5 ml) of a liquid diluted in 1/4 cup of water, or 1-2 tablets. 3 times a day 30 minutes before or 40 minutes after eating. Course - 4-6 weeks.

Conducting a second course is possible after consulting a doctor.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions are possible.

Special notes

Considering that Echinacea is a part of Prostanorm, it is necessary to use the drug with caution in case of progressive diseases, for the treatment of which the use of immunostimulating agents is not recommended.
