Mechanism of action

Immunostimulating drug of bacterial origin. Increases humoral and cellular immunity. Stimulates peritoneal macrophages, increases the number of T-lymphocytes and increases the formation of immunoglobulins A, G, M secreted by the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract. The immunostimulating effect of the lysate of bacteria is due to the effect on Peyer's patches in the gastrointestinal mucosa.
Clinically, Broncho-Vaxom reduces the incidence of acute infections, reduces the duration of their course, reduces the severity of symptoms, and also reduces the likelihood of exacerbation of chronic diseases. This reduces the need for the use of other drugs, especially antibiotics.

Indications and usage

- treatment of infectious diseases of the respiratory tract (including as part of combination therapy);
- prevention of recurrent infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract (including chronic bronchitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis).

Contraindications

- children's age up to 12 years;
- I trimester of pregnancy;
- lactation period;

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

The drug is contraindicated for use in the first trimester of pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage and administration

Adults and children over 12 years old are recommended to use the drug Broncho-Vaks adult. Children aged 6 months to 12 years should use the drug Broncho-Vaks children.
Fortreatment of acute and exacerbation of chronic respiratory infections the drug is prescribed in 1 caps. 1 time / day The drug should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach, daily, for at least 10 days. The duration of treatment is determined individually based on the condition of the patient. If antibiotic therapy is necessary, Broncho-Vax should be taken in combination with an antibiotic from the start of treatment.

Special notes

Broncho-Vax can be used simultaneously with other drugs in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
