Antibodies to the brain-specific protein S-100 affinity purified - 0.006 g *

Antibodies to histamine affinity purified - 0.006 g *

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, Magnesium stearate.

Description

Tablets are flat-cylindrical in shape with risky and chamfered, from white to almost white. The inscription MATERIA MEDICA is inscribed on the flat side, and the inscription KOLOFORT is inscribed on the other flat side.

Anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, anxiolytic.

Mechanism of action

It has been experimentally shown that the components of the drug modify the activity of ligand-receptor interaction of endogenous regulators with the corresponding receptors: antibodies to the S-100 protein - to serotonin receptors and sigma 1 receptors; antibodies to TNFα - to the TNFα receptor; antibodies to histamine - to localized in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) H4 - histamine receptors.

The combination of the three active components allows for a complex effect on the central and peripheral links of the pathogenesis of functional disorders of the intestine, including abdominal pain.

Antibodies to protein S-100 have a wide range of psychotropic activity, including anxiolytic and antidepressive, antiasthenic and nootropic effects, which is clinically manifested in the elimination of internal stress, anxiety, normalization of a number of visceral functions, including activity of the large intestine. Do not have a sedative effect, addiction, withdrawal syndrome. Antibodies to TNFα have a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect, help to normalize the balance of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines.

Antibodies to histamine have an antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema effect.

The combined use of components in the complex preparation contributes to the normalization of the nervous and humoral regulation of intestinal function; reduction of visceral hypersensitivity of the receptors of the colon to stretching, ensuring the restoration of impaired gastrointestinal motility; relieving the feeling of bloating and overflowing of the stomach, reducing the severity of pain. The antispasmodic effect of the drug is manifested by the relaxation of smooth muscles and a decrease in the tone of the wall of the gastrointestinal tract, a decrease in intraluminal pressure, normalization of stool consistency,its frequency and associated symptoms (relief of imperative urges, tenesmus, feelings of incomplete emptying of the intestines, additional efforts during an act of defecation, etc.).

Pharmacokinetics

The sensitivity of modern physicochemical methods of analysis (gas-liquid chromatography, high-performance liquid chromatography, chromatography-mass spectrometry) does not allow to estimate the content of ultra-low doses of antibodies in biological fluids, organs and tissues, which makes it impossible to study the pharmacokinetics of the Colofort preparation.

Indications for use

Irritable bowel syndrome; functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Dosage and administration

Inside For one dose - 1 or 2 pills (hold in the mouth until completely dissolved - not during the meal). Take 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 1-3 months; if necessary, the course of treatment can be extended to 6 months and / or repeated after 1-2 months. Against the background of exacerbation of diseases, it is possible to increase the frequency of taking up to 4 times a day for a period of 7 to 14 days.

Overdosage

In case of accidental overdose, dyspeptic symptoms are possible due to the fillers in the preparation.

Interaction with other drugs

Cases of incompatibility with other drugs have not yet been registered.

Special notes

The preparation contains lactose, and therefore it is not recommended to prescribe it to patients with congenital galactosemia, glucose or malabsorption malabsorption syndrome, or with congenital lactase deficiency.

Colofort does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and other potentially dangerous machinery.
