Mechanism of action

Living lactobacilli that are included in the drug have antagonistic activity against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria (including staphylococci, Proteus, enteropathogenic E. coli), normalize the digestive activity of the gastrointestinal tract, improve metabolic processes, help restore natural immunity. Metabolize the glycogen of the vaginal epithelium to lactic acid, which maintains the pH of the vagina at a level of 3.8–4.2. High concentration of lactic acid creates unfavorable conditions for the vital activity of acid-sensitive pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria.

Indications and usage

Gastrointestinal dysbacteriosis of various etiologies (including in children, starting from the first day of life), diseases of the oral cavity; dysbacteriosis of the urogenital tract, including in inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract of an infectious and non-infectious nature - gonorrhea, urogenital chlamydia, urogenital herpes, bacterial vaginosis (gardnerellez), hormone-dependent colpitis (senile, etc.); preparation for planned gynecological operations (for the prevention of postoperative infectious complications); Prenatal preparation of pregnant women at risk of inflammatory diseases (for the prevention and treatment of vaginal dysbiosis).

The drug contains in 1 dose of at least 10 million live acidophilic lactobacilli. A pill or suppository contains 1 dose of the drug. Oral dosage forms - by mouth, 30-40 minutes before meals, 2-3 times a day. In acute inflammatory processes in infants, 2-3 doses each, older children and adults, 5 doses each for 7-8 days; with prolonged and recurrent forms of the disease in infants, 2-3 doses each, for older children and adults, 5 doses each for 14-25 days. For diseases of the oral mucosa - 4-6 doses by resorption (tablets) or 5 doses in the form of irrigation (solution) 2-3 times a day for 14-15 days. Intravaginally - in the form of irrigations, applications and suppositories.In inflammatory processes of the urogenital tract - 5 doses (as a solution) or 1 dose (1 suppository) 2 times a day for 5-10 days. If there is a violation of the purity of the vaginal secretion in pregnant women before the III-IV stage - 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days or more, until the clinical symptoms disappear and the purity of the vaginal secretion is restored to the I-II stage. In order to prevent suppurative septic complications, 1 suppository is used 1-2 times a day for 5-10 days (before the intended operation or delivery). Restorative therapy after the use of antibiotics - 1 suppository 1-2 times a day for 10 days. The course is repeated for 3-4 months with an interval of 10-20 days.

Candidiasis, children's age (pills).

Special notes

The use of suppositories can be combined with the simultaneous prescription of antibacterial, antiviral and immunomodulating drugs. Suppositories that have the smell of rancid oil or with broken packaging are not suitable for use.

Simultaneous chemo and antibiotic therapy is allowed.
