Mechanism of action

Acedin-Pepsin - digestive enzyme agent. Pepsin and HCl (formed as a result of hydrolysis of betaine hydrochloride) increase the acidity of gastric juice, have proteolytic properties that promote digestion in the stomach.

Indications and usage

Hypo-and anacid gastritis, achilia, dyspepsia.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, hyperacidity of gastric juice (including peptic ulcer and 12 duodenal ulcer, erosive gastroduodenitis).

Dosage and administration

Acidin-pepsin is taken orally, during or after a meal, having previously dissolved in 50-100 ml of water. Adults take 0.5 g 3-4 times a day, children 62.5-125 mg (1/4 pill of 0.25 mg) 3-4 times a day.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, heartburn, gastralgia.
