GKS for external use. It prevents the regional accumulation of neutrophils, reduces inflammatory exudation and production of lymphokines, inhibits the migration of macrophages, reduces the intensity of the processes of infiltration and granulation. It has local anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, antipruritic, anti-allergic and anti-exudative effects.

When applied to large areas of skin, absorption is possible (damage to the integrity or inflammation of the skin increases absorption) and a systemic effect. Metabolized mainly in the liver, a small part - in the kidneys. Excreted by the kidneys.

Eczema, atopic dermatitis (common neurodermatitis), simple chronic lichen (limited neurodermatitis), lichen planus, discoid lupus erythematosus, psoriasis (with the exception of pustular and extensive plaque psoriasis), other skin diseases resistant to treatment with less active GCS.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, skin manifestations of syphilis, skin tuberculosis, bacterial, viral, fungal skin diseases (pyoderma, herpes simplex, chicken pox, actinomycosis, blastomycosis, sporotrichosis), skin cancer, nodular panicle (Hyde), common acne, pink eel, childhood up to 1 year), diaper rash, perioral dermatitis,genital and perianal itching, pregnancy, lactation.

With very persistent skin lesions, especially in the case of hyperkeratosis, the anti-inflammatory effect is enhanced by applying an occlusive dressing with a plastic wrap overnight. When changing the occlusive dressing, the skin must be cleaned.

Adverse reactions

Burning, itching, steroid acne, striae, dry skin. With long-term use: atrophy of the skin, local hirsutism, pigmentation disorders, weakening of the barrier function of the skin, the development of the pustular form of psoriasis. When applied to large surfaces, systemic side effects may develop (gastritis, ulceration of the mucous membranes of the gastrointestinal tract, increased intraocular pressure, symptoms of hypercorticism).

Special notes

The drug is recommended for short-term use. If necessary, it is possible to conduct short courses. When applied to the eyelid - take precautions to prevent eye contact (due to the existing risk of developing glaucoma). More pronounced atrophic changes appear on the face than on other parts of the body. In the treatment of psoriasis, careful monitoring of the patient is required to prevent recurrence, development of tolerance, widespread pustular psoriasis, local or general toxic reaction (violation of the barrier function of the skin).The heat and humidity created by the occlusal dressings contribute to the occurrence of infections, so the skin should be cleansed before applying a fresh dressing.
