Active ingredient and dosage form

Bronchikum syrup for oral administration:
100 ml of syrup contain liquid extract of thyme herb (1: 2-2.5) 15 g, Extractant: solution of ammonia 10%, glycerol 85%, ethanol 90%, water;

Mechanism of action

Bronhikum - expectorant plant products. It has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, bronchodilator, antimicrobial effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and accelerate its evacuation.

Indications and usage

As an expectorant in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by cough with sputum difficult to separate.

Contraindications

Dosage and administration

For adults and adolescents, Bronhikum syrup is prescribed orally after meals 2 teaspoons of syrup (10 ml) 3 times a day. Children from 6 to 12 years old - 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 3 times a day; children from 2 to 6 years old - 1 teaspoon (5 ml), 2 times a day; children from 1 year to 2 years - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 3 times a day; Children from 6 months to 12 months - 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) 2 times a day.

Adults and children over 12 years old should dissolve 1-2 lozenges in the mouth cavity several times (up to 3 times) per day. Children from 6 to 12 years old - take 1 pastille 3 times a day.

Adverse reactions
