Active ingredient and dosage form

Chewable pills (lemon):
1 tab. contains Calcium carbonate 1250 mg (corresponds to 500 mg of calcium), colecalciferol (vitamin D3) 400 IU;
Excipients: sorbitol, isomalt, povidone, Magnesium stearate, aspartame, lemon oil, mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids.;
in bottles of 60 pcs.

Mechanism of action

Calcium-D3 Nikomed forte is a combined drug that regulates the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body (in bones, teeth, nails, hair, muscles).

Reduces resorption (resorption) and increases bone density, replenishing the lack of calcium and vitamin D3 in the body, is necessary for the mineralization of teeth.

Calcium is involved in the regulation of nerve conduction, muscle contraction and is a component of the blood coagulation system.

Vitamin D3 (colecalciferol) increases calcium absorption in the intestines.

The use of calcium and vitamin D3 prevents the increase in the production of parathyroid hormone, which is a stimulator of increased bone resorption (leaching of calcium from the bones).

Contraindications

Osteoporosis treatment: adults - 1 tab. 2 times a day; at complex treatment of osteoporosis - 1 tab. 2-3 times a day.

With calcium and vitamin D deficiency: adults and children over 12 years old - 1 tab. 2 times a day; children from 3 to 12 years old - 1 tab. in a day.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

The daily dose should not exceed 1500 mg of calcium and 600 IU of vitamin D3.

Hypercalcemia, developing on the background of an overdose during pregnancy, can cause defects in the mental and physical development of the child.

Vitamin D and its metabolites can penetrate into breast milk, so you must consider the intake of calcium and vitamin D from other sources in the mother and child.

Adverse reactions

Allergic reactions, gastrointestinal dysfunction (constipation or diarrhea, flatulence, nausea, abdominal pain), hypercalcemia and hyperkalitsiuria.
