Mechanism of action

KLINDATSIN - an antibiotic from the group of lincosamides, has a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action. The mechanism of action is due to binding to the 50 S subunit of the ribosomal membrane and suppression of protein synthesis in the microbial cell. Acts bacteriostatic. In respect of a number of gram-positive cocci possible bactericidal action.

Active against Staphylococcus spp. (including Staphylococcus epidermidis, producing and not producing penicillinase), Streptococcus spp. (excluding Enterococcus faecalis), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Mycoplasma spp., anaerobic and microaerophilic gram-positive cocci (including Peptococcus spp. and Peptostreptococcus spp.), Clostridium perfringens, chrystrophysus spp. spp., Pesttocrepcus spp., Clostridium perfringens, Christsthenes spp., Pesttocrepcus spp., Clostridium perfringens, Clostridus spp. (including Bacteroides fragilis and Prevotella melaninogenica), Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., Eubacterium spp. and Actinomyces israelii.

Indications and usage

Dosage and administration

Assign intravaginally 1 suppository 1 time / day. just before bedtime, for 3-7 days in a row.

Drug Interactions

Clindacin^® enhances the effect of rifampicin preparations, aminoglycosides - streptomycin, Gentamicin.

Clindacin^® incompatible with Erythromycin, ampicillin, diphenylhydantoin derivatives, barbiturates, aminophylline, Calcium gluconate, and Magnesium sulfate.
