Adverse Effects

Bleeding is the most frequent adverse reaction, most often it occurs during the first month of taking the drug. Cases of severe bleeding have been reported in patients taking Clopidogrel simultaneously with ASA or clopidogrel with ASA and Heparin (see the section "Special Instructions").
The frequency of side effects is defined as follows.: often - and> 1/100 - and <1/10, infrequently - and> 1/1000 - and <1/100 and rarely - and> 1/10000 - and <1/1000; very rarely - and <1/10000. Within each class of frequencies, unwanted effects are presented in order of decreasing severity.
From the side of the central nervous system: infrequently - headache, dizziness and paresthesia; rarely, systemic vertigo; very rarely - confusion, hallucinations, disorders of taste.
From the gastrointestinal tract: often - Gastrointestinal bleeding, diarrhea, abdominal pain, dyspepsia; infrequently - hemorrhagic stroke, stomach ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastritis, nausea, vomiting, constipation, intestinal distention; very rarely - pancreatitis, colitis (including ulcerative or lymphocytic colitis), stomatitis, acute liver failure, hepatitis.
From the side of cardiovascular system and blood formation system: infrequently - an increase in bleeding time and a decrease in the number of platelets (thrombocytopenia), leukopenia, neutropenia and eosinophilia; very rarely - vasculitis, hypotension, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) (1/200000 patients taking the drug) (see section “Specific instructions”), severe thrombocytopenia (platelet count and <30 &№183; 109 / L), agranulocytosis, granulocytopenia, aplastic anemia / pancytopenia, anemia.
Dermatologic: Infrequently - allergic reactions (skin rash), pruritus; very rarely - angioedema, bullous dermatitis (erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis), erythematous rash, urticaria, eczema and lichen planus.
On the part of the respiratory system: very rarely - bronchospasm, interstitial pneumonitis.
Other: very rarely - arthralgia, arthritis, myalgia, anaphylactoid reactions, serum sickness, fever, impaired liver function tests, increased blood creatinine levels, glomerulonephritis.

Dosage and administration

Egithromb is taken orally, regardless of the meal.
For adults and elderly patients, clopidogrel should be taken at 75 mg once a day.
Treatment should begin in terms of several to 35 days in patients after myocardial infarction and from 7 days to 6 months in patients after ischemic stroke.

Store in a cool and dark place, protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.
