Pharmacological action - laxative.
Enema Wedge is a saline laxative, whose action is based on the increase with the help of osmotic processes of water retention in the intestinal lumen. The accumulation of fluid in the intestine leads to increased peristalsis and subsequent bowel cleansing. The time of onset of effect is 5-7 minutes after administration.

Clinical studies in pregnant women have not been conducted, so the use of the drug is not recommended and is possible according to the indications when the potential benefit exceeds the risk of use.
Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, local irritating effects (irritation around the anus) are possible.

Wrap the tip with the protective cap, lie on your left side, bending the right leg at the knee, remove the protective cap from the smeared tip of the bottle and gently insert the tip into the anus, pushing with a little effort in the direction of the navel. Squeeze the contents of the bottle and remove the tip from the anus. It is not necessary to extrude the contents to the end, since the vial contains 15 ml of excess drug. It is recommended to keep the drug in the intestine for 8-10 minutes. Recommended body position should be maintained until the desire to empty.
Symptoms: overdose with rectal mode of administration is unlikely. There may be diarrhea, impaired water and electrolyte balance, dehydration.
Treatment: symptomatic (prescription of hydration therapy, antidiarrheal agents). At the first sign of an overdose should consult a doctor.
