Furacilin - an antimicrobial drug.
Active against gram-positive and gram-negative flora: intestinal, dysenteric bacilli, paratyphoid pathogens, salmonella, cholera vibrio, giardia, trichomonas, staphylococcus, large viruses, gas gangrene pathogens. Effective with microbial resistance to other antimicrobial agents (not from the group of nitrofuran derivatives).
Acute and chronic dysentery, chronic suppurative otitis media, infected wounds, ulcers, bedsores, II and III degree burns, stomatitis, tonsillitis, conjunctivitis, purulent-inflammatory processes of the paranasal sinuses, articular and pleural cavities; preparation of the granulating surface for skin grafts.

To rinse the mouth: 1 tab. (20 mg) is dissolved in 100 ml of water.
For irrigation and washing of wounds, an aqueous solution of 0.02% (1: 5000) is applied, followed by applying a wet dressing.
With chronic purulent otitis apply in the form of drops an alcohol solution (1: 1500) of furatsilina.
With conjunctivitis and scrofulous eye diseases Furacilin water solution is instilled into the conjunctival sac.
For external use Furacilin is usually well tolerated. In some cases, possible dermatitis, requiring a temporary break or stop taking the drug.
