1 g ointment contains hydrocortisone acetate 10 mg;
Excipients:medical vaseline, anhydrous lanolin, pentol, stearic acid, nipagin (methyl parahydroxybenzoate), nipazol (propyl parahydroxybenzoate), purified water.

Hydrocortisone is a synthetic glucocorticoid drug for local use. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, antipruritic effect.
Hydrocortisone ointment 1% is used for inflammatory and allergic skin diseases of non-microbial etiology: eczema, allergic and contact dermatitis, neurodermatitis, psoriasis.
Use of the drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to Hydrocortisone or other components of the drug, with wound, ulcer lesions, bacterial, viral and fungal skin diseases, with skin tuberculosis and syphilitic skin lesions. Rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, skin tumors, children under 2 years. With caution in diabetes. The drug is not prescribed for pregnant women.
Locally. Ointment is applied with a thin layer to the affected skin 2-3 times a day. The duration of the course of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and the effectiveness of therapy, making, as a rule, 6-14 days; with persistent disease, it can be extended to 20 days. Occlusive dressings can be used on limited foci to enhance the effect. When applying the ointment in children from 2 years and older, the total duration of treatment should be limited and measures leading to increased resorption of steroid absorption (warming, fixing and occlusive dressings) should be excluded.
