Mechanism of action

Adaptol is an anxiolytic. Eliminates or weakens anxiety, anxiety, fear, internal emotional tension and irritability. The sedative effect of Adaptol pills is not accompanied by muscle relaxation and poor coordination of movements.

Adaptol does not reduce mental and physical activity, so it can be used during the working day or study. Does not create high spirits, feelings of euphoria.

Does not have a hypnotic effect, but enhances the effect of hypnotic drugs and improves the course of sleep when it is disturbed.

Adaptol facilitates or removes nicotine abstinence.

In addition to calming has a nootropic effect. Indications and usage

- neurosis and neurosis-like states, occurring with symptoms of irritability, emotional instability, anxiety and fear;

Contraindications

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Adaptol penetrates well into all tissues and body fluids. There are not enough clinical observations on the use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding), so it is not recommended to prescribe the drug Adaptol in this category of patients.

Dosage and administration

Adaptol should be taken orally regardless of food intake, 500 mg 2-3 per day. The maximum single dose is 3 g, daily - 10 g. The duration of the course of treatment is from several days to 2-3 months. If the next dose was not taken on time, the treatment is continued in the previously prescribed doses.

Adverse reactions

With the use of Adaptol in high doses: possible - allergic reactions and dyspepsia (you should stop taking the drug), lowering blood pressure and body temperature (normalized independently).
