Active ingredient and dosage form

Cogitum oral solution:
1 ampoule contains acetylaminosuccinate dipotassium salt (acetylamino-succinic acid) 250 mg;
Excipients: levulose, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, aromatic substances, distilled water;
10 ml in an ampoule of 30 pcs. packaged.

Mechanism of action

The active substance of the drug Cogitum - acetylamino-succinic acid is an endogenous biospecific compound contained in the central nervous system, especially in the brain. The drug helps to stabilize the processes of nervous regulation.

Indications and usage

 
Functional asthenic conditions; neurosis with mild depression. The drug is used in the treatment of antidepressants as an adjuvant.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Dosage and administration

Cogitum appoint inside; the frequency of admission - 2 times a day.
500 mg (2 amp.) Are taken in the morning and 250 mg (1 amp.) - at night.
