Pharmacology

Liv 52 - combined herbal remedy with hepatoprotective and choleretic action. It has a hepatoprotective, anti-toxic, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, antioxidant, anti-anorexic action. It helps to improve the process of digestion and assimilation of food.

Hepatoprotective effect of Liv. 52 due to the antioxidant and membrane stabilizing properties of its constituent components. The drug increases the level of endogenous tocopherols in hepatocytes and the level of cytochrome P450. Liv. 52 stimulates the biosynthesis of proteins and phospholipids. Helps to restore hepatocytes, reduces degenerative, fatty and fibrotic changes, enhances intracellular metabolism.

The drug regulates the level of plasma proteins in the blood, normalizing the albumin / globulin ratio. Provides normalization of plasma transaminases, cholesterol, triglycerides, reducing the manifestations of dyslipidemia. Reduces bilirubin and alkaline phosphatase.
