Lopedium has an antidiarrheal effect.
Acute and chronic diarrhea (symptomatic treatment).

Lopedium is taken orally. Adults, 4 mg, then 2 mg after each episode of diarrhea. The maximum daily dose is 16 mg.
Children over 6 years old - 2 mg after each bowel movement in the case of liquid stool. The maximum daily dose is 6 mg. The duration of treatment is not more than 2 days.
