Indications and usage

Lugol solution with glycerin is used in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes of the pharynx and larynx, angular stomatitis (zaedah).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Iodine preparations.

Adverse reactions

Possible development of iodism phenomena: runny nose, skin rash as urticaria, salivation, tearing, contact dermatitis, erythema, dry skin, slight burning, itching, bronchospasm, nausea, vomiting, angioedema (in some patients because of the smell of the drug), redness on the place of application.

Dosage and administration

Lugol solution with glycerin is used externally (for lubrication). Inside, 5-10 drops 2 times a day.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.
