Naxogin is an antiprotozoal drug.
Highly active against Trichomonas vaginalis and other protozoa (including Giardia intestinalis and Entamoeba histolytica).
The minimum trichomonacid concentration varies between 0.3-3 μg / ml.

Naxogin should not be used during pregnancy.
If necessary, the use of Naxogin during lactation should decide on the termination of breastfeeding. Nimorazole and its metabolites are excreted in breast milk.
Naxogin should not be used in patients with neurological diseases and diseases of the central nervous system.
To avoid possible reinfection, the simultaneous treatment of sexual partners, even in the absence of symptoms of the disease in one of them, is recommended.
At the end of the course of therapy, even when the infection is cured, in some cases the symptoms of inflammation (including leucorrhoea, itching) may persist for several more days.
During treatment, alcohol is not recommended.
The drug should be stored at a temperature not higher than 30 ° C.
