Slezin
Slezin. Eye drops.
Eye drops in the form of a clear, colorless solution.
15 ml - polymer dropper bottle (1) - cardboard packs.
Keratoprotective drug. Tears - artificial tears, improves the moistening of the cornea, increases the stability of the tear film on the surface of the cornea.
Slezin contains a water-soluble polymer system, which, in combination with the natural tear fluid of the eye, improves the moisture of the cornea, ensuring the hydrophilicity of the corneal surface due to the usual adsorption processes at the interface of the tear film and the cornea surface. The drug is physiologically mixed with a film of tear fluid, increasing its stability on the surface of the cornea. Reduces irritation symptoms associated with dry eye syndrome and protects the cornea from drying out. After a single instillation, the effect of the drug is maintained for 90 minutes.
Pharmacokinetics
Hypromellose has a high molecular weight (86,000 Dalton) and therefore is absorbed slowly. Hypromellose is a metabolically inert material.
Dry eye syndrome.
The use of the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) is possible only in the case when the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child. Adequate and strictly controlled clinical studies on the safety and efficacy of the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) have not been conducted.
When wearing contact lenses before instillation of the drug should be removed and re-installed no earlier than 15 minutes after applying the drug.
The drug Slezin should not be used for injections.
If there is no improvement after 2-3 days of use of the drug, it is recommended to interrupt the treatment.
Influence on ability to drive motor transport and control mechanisms
Due to the possible blurring of vision, during the period of treatment, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require high concentration of attention and quickness of psychomotor reactions.
1 ml contains:
Main active ingredients:
Auxiliary components:
glycerol, boric acid, sodium tetraborate decahydrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, disodium edetate disodium, benzalkonium chloride, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid, water.
Locally.
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each affected eye as needed several times a day or as prescribed by a physician. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and is prescribed by a doctor. In the absence of effect, the instillation of the drug should be stopped.
Infrequently (0.1-1%): blurring of vision, discomfort of the eye (burning, pricking).
Rarely (0.01-0.1%): eye redness, tearing, eye fatigue.
maybe development of allergic reactions.
Slezin is not compatible with eye drops containing metal salts (including zinc sulfate).
Currently, there have been no reported cases of an overdose of Slezina.
If an excessive amount of ophthalmic solution gets into the eyes, rinse the eyes with warm water.
The drug should be stored out of the reach of children, protected from light at a temperature not higher than 25 ° C.
