Plantex - Phytopreparation for the correction of digestive disorders in children. The fruits and essential oil of fennel have a stimulating digestion and a carminative effect. Stimulate digestion, increasing the secretion of gastric juice and peristalsis. The drug prevents excessive gas formation in the intestines, increases their excretion and, thus, relieves spasms caused by intestinal flatulence.
Correction of mild digestive disorders, accompanied by spastic pain and flatulence, in infants (from 2 weeks of age) and young children (including during the transition from breastfeeding to other foods).
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Since the drug contains lactose and glucose, its use is not recommended in children with lactase deficiency, galactose / glucose imbalance syndrome, galactosemia.
Currently, in the pediatric practice of early age, the diagnosis has become very common: lactase deficiency, based on an increase in carbohydrate feces. However, a study at the Research Institute of Surgery and Pediatric Pediatrics of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences showed that Plantex did not increase the manifestations of lactase deficiency either clinically or laboratory.
Dosage and administration
Infants the contents of the bag (5 g) are poured into the horn: add 100 ml of freshly boiled water or milk and stir until tea is dissolved. Before use, cool to an appropriate temperature.
Children over 1 year old 1-2 sachets (5-10 g) of tea are poured into a cup containing 100-150 ml of boiled warm or cold water and stirred until dissolved. Tea is not sweetened.
To prepare the solution should be used only warm boiled water or milk.
Infants should be given only freshly prepared solution.
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
