Mechanism of action

The drug for the local treatment of diseases of the anorectal region. Contained in Posterisans concentrated cell membrane lipopolysaccharides and metabolites of Escherichia coli of various strains, including resistant to the action of antibiotics and other antimicrobial drugs, by direct contact with the mucous membrane of the anus or the skin of the anogenital region, increase the local resistance of the tissues to the effects of pathogenic microflora.
Posterisan stimulates the T-system of immunity, increases the phagocytic activity of leukocytes and cells of the phagocytic mononuclear system at the site of exposure, enhances the formation of antibodies and some humoral factors of nonspecific immunity. It reduces exudation during inflammation, normalizes the permeability and tone of blood vessels, stimulates the regeneration of damaged tissues.

Indications and usage

- persistent course of hemorrhoids;
- perianal dermatitis;
- anal itching, especially with resistance to treatment with other drugs;
- anopapillite;
- anal fissure.

Ointment Apply a thin layer to the affected skin and mucous membrane in the morning and evening, and also after each defecation act. For a deeper introduction of the ointment into the anus, you can use a screw-on applicator.
Suppositories Apply 1 pc. in the morning and in the evening, and also after each act of defecation.

After stopping the symptoms of the disease, it is recommended to continue treatment for another 2-3 weeks to consolidate the therapeutic effect and prevent relapse.

Adverse reactions

Seldom: allergic reactions (in predisposed patients), due to the presence of phenol in the composition of the dosage form.
