Mechanism of action

Rezalut pro - hepatoprotector. Soybean phospholipid extract consists of phosphatidylcholine and phosphoglycerides (on average, by 76%); however, linoleic acid prevails from fatty acids. Hepatoprotective effect of the drug due to the acceleration of the process of regeneration of liver cells and stabilization of cell membranes, inhibition of lipid oxidation and suppression of collagen synthesis in the liver. The drug normalizes lipid metabolism, reducing cholesterol levels by increasing the formation of its esters and linoleic acid.

Indications and usage

• fatty degeneration of the liver of various etiologies;
• chronic hepatitis;
• toxic liver damage,
• cirrhosis of the liver;
• hypercholesterolemia, with the ineffectiveness of the diet and other non-drug measures (physical activity and measures to reduce body weight).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to phospholipids, peanuts, soybeans and other components of the drug; antiphospholipid syndrome; pregnancy and breastfeeding.
With care: children's age up to 12 years.

Dosage and administration

Take 2 capsules 3 times a day before meals, without chewing and drinking plenty of fluids. The duration of treatment depends on the course of the disease.

Adverse reactions

From the gastrointestinal tract: sometimes there may be discomfort in the epigastric region, diarrhea. Allergic reactions: in rare cases, skin rash, urticaria.
Hemic and lymphatic: extremely rare - petechial rash, bleeding in women during the intermenstrual period.
