Active ingredient and dosage form

Silymar - tablets:

1 tab. contains silimara dry extract (milk thistle dry extract) 100 mg; 30 pieces packaged.

Mechanism of action

Hepatoprotective. Silymar inhibits cytolysis, inhibits the growth of indicator enzymes (ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase, gamma-glutamate transferase), and prevents the development of cholestasis.

Indications and usage

Hepatitis of various genesis, liver cirrhosis, toxic liver damage (including medicinal, alcoholic, heavy metal compounds), fatty hepatosis.

Contraindications

Individual intolerance.

Dosage and administration

Silimar is taken orally, 30 minutes before a meal, 1-2 tablets. 3 times a day, for 25-30 days. If necessary, repeat the treatment after 1-3 months.
