Indications

Spastic states of the gastrointestinal tract due to organic diseases. Symptomatic treatment of pain, spastic conditions, discomfort in irritable bowel syndrome.

Dosing regimen

Is ingested 100 mg 4 times or 135 mg 3 times / day. When the desired clinical effect is achieved, the dose is gradually reduced over several weeks.

Adverse effects

Maybe: nausea, allergic reactions, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, constipation.

Contraindications

Pregnancy, hypersensitivity to mebeverin.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Mebeverin is contraindicated for use in pregnancy.
