Mechanism of action

A special property of the molecules of sodium hyaluronate, D-panthenol and sodium Chondroitin sulfate is a pronounced ability to bind a large number of water molecules. Having the necessary viscosity and high adhesive properties in relation to the anterior segment of the eye, Stillavit solution containing these substances, forms a uniform and stable, for a long time, tear film, which is not washed off when blinking and does not cause a decrease in visual acuity.

Stillavite solution:

• moisturizes, lubricates and restores the surface of the cornea and conjunctiva;
• brings quick relief from dry and irritated eyes;
• eliminates discomfort when wearing contact lenses;
• relieves fatigue with intense visual load (with prolonged use of the computer and hanging out in front of the TV, while driving at night, etc.).

Stillavit, indications for use

Stillavit solution is used for additional moistening, lubrication and protection of the front surface of the eye (cornea and conjunctiva), elimination of discomfort when feeling "dry", foreign body sensation, burning in the eyes, including those that occur under the influence of:

• Climatic factors (use of air conditioners, split-systems, steam heating, exposure to massive ultraviolet radiation, etc.).
• Medical and environmental factors (air pollution from industrial waste and road transport, soil pollution with chemicals in agriculture).
• Medico-social factors (“aging” of the population and associated with age-related changes, more frequent instillations of eye drops, taking various drugs, total computerization of schools and offices, extensive use of contact vision correction and eye microsurgery techniques to eliminate defects of the organ of vision, etc.) e.) Dosage and administration

It is recommended to dig in the solution. Stillavit 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye 2-3 times or more a day. When the frequency of instillation more than 10 times a day, you should consult with an ophthalmologist for the absence of epithelial defects and cornea damage.

Stillavit solution can be used when wearing all types of contact lenses; the solution can be applied without removing the contact lenses from the eyes; To achieve an additional effect, instill 1-2 drops of the solution into each lens before putting it on.

Special notes

Stillavite solution should not be used:

• in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the solution;
• with damaged packaging;
• after the expiration date;
• 1 month after opening the bottle.

In the event of such reactions as eye irritation or discomfort that persists for several days, you should stop using the solution and consult an ophthalmologist.

Drug interaction

In the case of joint use of the solution of Stillavit with other ophthalmological preparations, it is recommended to observe the interval between using eye drops and the specified solution for at least 30 minutes. Eye ointments should be applied after instillation of Stillavit solution.
