Active ingredient and dosage form

1 capsule contains freeze-dried liver cells of a donor pig (Hepar suis) 0.2 g;
capsule shell composition: gelatin, pigment titanium dioxide E171, tropeolin O, nipagin, nipazol;
10, 20 or 30 plastic containers; in a cardboard box 1 container.

Yellow capsules. The contents of the capsules - powder from light beige to light brown.

Mechanism of action

Detoxifying, hepatoprotective.
The action is due to xenogenic hepatocytes and their biological components, which are biocompatible with macromolecules of the human body.
The mechanism of action includes two phases: the intestinal, in which the drug has a detoxification effect due to sorption of toxic products in the intestine and metabolic (hepatoprotective), in which biological components contribute to the restoration of the functional activity of the liver. The drug contains amino acids, microelements, Vitamins, essential phospholipids, mesenchymal enzymes, cytochromes.

Detoxification properties: they appear due to sorption and elimination of toxins and toxic products from the intestines, as well as sorption of high-molecular volatile fatty acids and their isomers (valeric, isovaleric, caproic, isocaproic).
Adsorption properties: based (in the study of low-molecular metabolites of obligate microflora) to delay the absorption of metabolites of the microflora of the large intestine.
Beloksynthetic properties: the presence of 18 amino acids in the preparation, contributes to the replenishment of their deficiency and the synthesis of essential proteins, improves the metabolic ability of liver cells, promotes sorption and elimination of toxins.

Indications and usage

Liver cirrhosis of various etiologies, hepatitis, hepatosis, acute and chronic liver failure, medicinal and alcoholic liver damage, poisoning, digestive disorders (as part of complex therapy).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.

Dosage and administration

Hepatosan is taken inside by 0.2 g (1 capsule) 15-20 minutes before meals with a small amount of water.
In the acute course of liver failure The drug is taken at 0.4 g (2 capsules) twice a day.
The course of treatment is 10 days.
In the chronic course of liver failure Take 0.4 g (2 capsules) twice a day. The course of treatment is 20 days.
Depending on the clinical course and severity of the disease, the treatment is repeated.
With cirrhosis of the liver in the stage of decompensation take 0.4 g (2 capsules) three times a day (treatment course - 10 days), then 0.2 g (1 capsule) twice a day (treatment course 14 days).
In order to reduce intoxication in patients with cirrhosis always take 0.2-0.4g (1-2 capsules) per day.
